WSP is looking for a Contract Administrator who will provide proficient and effective Contract Administration support to ensure the successful execution of the projects from inception to project close out.

Responsibilities

• Provide contractual support and guidance
• Perform early warning and compensation event entitlement reviews
• Review correspondence and ensure that all contractual aspects of the contract are managed in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions
• Knowledge of construction, engineering, contracts, procurement, and start-up work processes
• Managing change management procedures, contractual disputes, correspondence and financial close out of contracts
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Payment certificates
• Able to carry out Forecasting / Projection of Turnover, monthly, quarterly and annually, against planned programme of works.
• Knowledge of typical cost reporting, Statistical Analysis (Trending) required.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Quantity Surveying .Should be a Chartered member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors .Strong Quantity Surveying consultant background
• 10+ years overall post graduate experience with 5 years prime contracts management (including claims and disputes), preferably in the gulf/middle east.
• Should have experience in the similar capacity with Project Management/Construction Management or consultancy firms supporting for large scale high rise projects;
• Familiar with Civil and common law is a plus
• Working knowledge of FIDIC and other international standards post award contract administration
• Extensive experience with contract administration, negotiations, High value claims ,dispute resolution ,arbitration .
Preferably Middle east experience
• Ability to work as a specialist team ,work with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to perform key management capacity
• Strong interpersonal ,negotiation,report writing and communication skills
• Working knowledge of software typically associated with Contract administration
• Organised effective problem solving and negotiations skills
• Ability to multi- task and able to work in a fast paced environment as part of a specialist consultant Team. Meticulous and positive work attitude
