WSP are looking for a Risk / Change Manager to plan, design and implement an overall Risk Management and Change Control process for the programme that would:

Develop and execute the management of risk and change control across the programme.
Improve, support and implementation of the Risk and change Management Strategies
Support and guide the identification and capture of Risk and Change, analyse, evaluate and report the efforts across all involved programme entities.
Produce Risk and Change reports and monitor progress


The key objectives of the role will be to:

Review and approve Change and Risk Management Plans and guidelines developed.
Analyse existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies and service improvements.
Recommend ways to identify control or reduce change and risk.
Gather associated data from internal or external resources.
Provide training in all aspects of Change and Risk Management to the Programme Management Consultants (PMCs) and Public Works Authority (PWA) staff, especially in the use of the: Change Control process/procedure and Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS).
Contribute to the formal project reporting and ad-hoc reports as required.
Assist in preparing the relevant section of the Program Monthly Reports.
Provide effective leadership and advice on Change and Risk Management to PMCs, PWA and the General Engineering Consultants (GECs).
Oversee and manage the Quantified Risk Assessments of Cost and Programme.
How will you know when you are successful in this role?

On time delivery, accuracy and consistency across all of the required reports each week/month
Accuracy and consistency of report data collecting, collating and presentation in a continuous manner
High level of integration and communication with Area Teams
Proactive delivery and support for the improvement of the program.
Audits of Process and procedure compliance
Individual business objectives are achieved


In order to meet the challenge you will have the following skills and experience:

Bachelors’ degree in data management, project controls, construction or engineering based discipline
Relevant recognised proven experience/exam based professional chartered qualification/Membership
Demonstrable track record of working 10 years minimum on a variety of large complex construction projects with 5 years in civil infrastructure delivery with respect to reporting and managing programme wide risk and change.
A strong proven record in managing and mitigating risk
Delivery experience and understanding of complex change management.
Proven competency in client relationship management, and Contractor management .
Software Awareness comparable to the tasks required

Microsoft Office Professional

Primavera P6 (preferred)

Generic principles of data capture systems

Languages - Fluent in all aspects of English – Arabic is an advantage
